What determines eligibility?
All materials must have been created in the state of Minnesota and published, broadcast, posted or distributed between the dates of July 1, 2009 and July 1, 2010 and must not have been previously entered into The Show or into another Advertising Federation competition. Entries may originate from any individual or organization that has created, produced, or directed the creation of the material. For student entries, all work must be produced in Minnesota by students enrolled in a recognized Minnesota program. All work must be original.
The Show Committee will review all entries and has the authority to question, reclassify, or reject any entry where eligibility is in doubt. Their decision is final. The Show Committee reserves the right to question the authenticity of any entry. Entries that are deemed ineligible will be removed from the competition. If an entry is discovered to be ineligible after receiving an award, the award will be revoked and a notification will be posted on the website.
To ensure judging impartiality, your entries must be presented without Agency branding and must not refer to your Agency or anyone who has contributed to the entry. The Show Committee reserves the right to disqualify your entry or entries for violation of this rule.
What's the automatic release?
All entries accepted for competition may be used in any and all presentations authorized by the Advertising Federation Minnesota. By submitting entries to The Show, the entrant grants permission to display, publish, duplicate or distribute the entries and the accompanying credit information as The Advertising Federation of Minnesota deems appropriate. The Advertising Federation Minnesota cannot, under any circumstance, accept responsibility for loss or damage to work submitted, nor can they be held liable for errors or omissions that occur in the creation of The Show materials such as the award show book, website or reel and is released against all liability and damages.
Agreement
By entering into this competition, you acknowledge that you have the authority to enter into this agreement as an individual or as an assign of a company or institution, and that you agree to abide by its terms and conditions, including the terms of eligibility and the automatic release stated above. You/your assignor warrant that you are the original creator of the submitted material.
